Angelo, as I watch the news about the choosing of the Pope, I can't believe that just a few days ago we were there enjoying the most AMAZING trip ever!!! We don't know how to thank you for showing us your city in such a personal way. Your zest for life is infectious and your passion for Rome just oozes out of every pore!!!!! We learned so much our brains are exploding! But beyond all of that you have become a new member of our family!!! All conversations have included Angelo!!!!! Hi, I just wanted to tell all of you at Access Italy thank you for making our trip to Italy a truly memorable one. Italy is now my favorite country outside of the U.S. (used to be Australia). Please share the following comments with our tour guides: 1. Daniel eased us into the Italian culture with a thoroughly enjoyable tour through the stunning Tuscany countryside and San Gimignano. It was indeed a privilege to view these areas without the crowds. I am still in awe of the beauty of Tuscany. Grazie Daniel. 2. In Florence, Mike impressed us with his knowledge of the art history of the Renaissance period and that of Florence. At every corner, there seemed to be a story. He also shared with us a critical view of David and Michaelangelo. 3. Lavinia was a pleasure. Her passion for ancient Roman history bubbled over. I never thought a lesson in history could be so much fun. Please tell her that the vestal virgins are mentioned in a popular song by British band Procol Harum - Whiter Shade of Pale from 1967. She wasn't aware of it probably because it was before she was born (ha, ha). Lastly, thank you Laura and Valentina for helping me organize this trip. Appreciate all of your suggestions. Being that this was our first trip to Italy, we did try a few tours with another company (I know, shame on me) but we quickly concluded that Access Italy was much better. I will most certainly write a review on Trip Advisor which is where I found out about Access Italy. 'Til the next time.

On Saturday morning we met our Access Italy tour guide, Daniel.and he took us through the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter's Basilica. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the subjects, the artists, and the relation to world history and Church history. His knowledge about the works of art and the subjects involved was really fascinating and helped bring to life a special awareness of the time. We appreciated his patience, attention to detail, and kindness. Bravo Daniel for a wonderful trip through the ages. Thank you Chris and Lucille F

Thank you for a a great trip. Your drivers and guides are fantastic and totally professional. The Vatican tour was especially memorable. We never got the name of our driver for Tuesday to Pompeii and and Friday for the wine tour but he was really good, patient and full of great and fun information. Please give him a heartfelt thanks from his midwest US tourists. Everything else went great too, including the last minute changes and additions. Our return yesterday and today was pretty interesting, given Hurricane Sandy but we are all now back on the west side of the 'pond'. Thanks again. Steve, Kathy, Terry and Mary W.

I would like to take a moment to recognize one of your associates, Olimpia Mastrogiacomo. Olimpia helped us design a very special Italy vacation of which we just returned from. Laura worked with Olimpia to set up all of our tours. Olimpia was such a huge asset in recommending various tours and sites as well as insuring other elements of our vacation would be fabulous. This was a trip of a lifetime for us! Without Olimpia and Access Italy it surely would not have been.

It was wonderful to be able to get into the Vatican Museum so early and avoid the large crowds and the queue. Also, our guide was wonderful, her English excellent and her knowledge extensive. Thank you!

We had a guide by the name of Chiarra. She was informative and charming. It was obvious that she was passionate about her subject. We totally enjoyed our time with her and wished we had several more hours to glean more information. Rome is delicious!

What a tremendous tour! We booked the early Vatican tour easily online. Upon reaching our meeting point, we were greeted by our tour guide and we were off. We really were the first in line for the early entrance tour. We immediately headed to the Sistine Chapel. You can't imagine what it was like to be one of only about 20 people there when we entered. What a beautiful Chapel to say the least. To jump ahead of all the lines and enter the Vatican one hour before it opens is worth every penney you pay! Our guide spoke flawless English and was very informative. As my husband and I were the only ones signed up for the tour that morning, it was quite an individualized tour. I highly rec. this company and would use them again anywhere that we travel!
