“Loved Access Italy! Angelo Amorico, president of this tour company and his staff provide on time to and from the airport and hotel pickup for tours. Gabrielle was a wonderful guide who is very well versed on Roman History, spoke excellent English and besides giving the usual Rome tours, a short drive out of Rome to Tivoli which is a totally charming hill top village. There is an excellent historic restaurant, the Siblilla which is next to an ancient Greek Temple of an oracle. In the same area, there is the vast ruins of Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este which provide many photo ops.”
“We used Access Italy for our transfers while in Italy as well as an overview tour of Rome, the Vatican tour, a tour of Pompeii and a boat excursion from Capri to Positano and cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of Angelo and his staff. Giulio provided an excellent overview tour of Rome and a Vatican tour where we met Angelo who really does know everyone in Italy and arranged for some excellent dinners in Rome, Capri and Positano. Peppe provided an enjoyable boat outing and the lunch of antipasti, wine and spaghetti with zucchini was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. Gabriel and Roberto provided enjoyable car rides and our tour of Pompeii was second to none. We would recommend this company to anyone who is visiting Italy.”

“"WOW!" What a wonderful experience! I personally would have paid double for the VIP treatment we received from the moment we departed our ship to the moment we re-boarded. Our personal driver and our personal tour guide for the Vatican were amazing! There are truly not enough words to describe the experience we had. My wife and I were in Rome for only 8hrs on 08/25/2010 and we were shown places that are not listed in any tourist booklet or map. From the rooftop café to the best Gelato shop in Rome, we truly saw it all. If it wasn’t for Access Italy, I truly believe we would have not seen all that we had seen in the short time we had. For example, the local trick to purchasing tickets to the Colosseum is not to purchase them at the Colosseum. We would have waited for more than 45 minutes just to purchase tickets if it had not been for our wonderful driver and his trick of the trade. “My husband and I recently went to Rome for a vacation. We only had a few days so we wanted to maximize our time there. I saw an interview of Angelo, the owner of AccessItaly.net, about private tours in Itlay, on Extra (a TV show in the US) - what a perfect timing - so I contacted the agency for a quote to see the best in Rome. They didn't disappoint. We joined a Premium half-day tour in Rome and saw Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum, the Coliseum, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Keyhole on the Aventine Hill, and others in just a few hours. The whole experience was fantastic. We never had to stand in lines. The tour guide and driver were very professional, thoughtful and they know Rome and its history. Based on that experiecence, we decided to went on to two other tours with Access italy the next couple of days. The Vatican Tour with Access Italy was a MUST-DO in Rome. We were able to get into the Vatican an hour before it opened to the general public. The Vatican itself was obviously impressive, but the experience that we were able walking around the museum all by ourselves was priceless. Another tour we did was a wine tasting tour in the Lazio region. In my opinion, this is a nice-to-do, not a must do, but it's great for honeymooners. Another must-do is to visit the Piedro's restaurant near the Spanish Steps. We happened to bumped into Angelo (the owner of Access Italy) and his family who were also having dinner there. They were so friendly and introduced us to the owner of the restaurant (Piedro) and some of the best dishes there (e.g. Zucchini Blossom, pasta with mushrooms) - although I loved everything there. My husband and I loved it so much that we went back there for dinner the next night. We visited Athens the year prior and we didn't join any tours. Like Rome, Athens is a history-rich city. Having a tour guide who knows the history and the in-n-out of the city makes a huge difference. You do pay the price for the service, but it's worth it!”

“We were so fortunate to have toured the Vatican with Serena Catagalli of Access Italy. The ability to gain entrance to the museum, especially the Sistine Chapel, ahead of the crush of tours and general public was worth the price of admission alone. What made it an experience for a lifetime was our guide, Serena Cantagalli, who was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we saw, gracious as a host, and who made the effort to understand our basis of knowledge and interest and to expand on that. Some tour guides work from a script, but Serena asked us about our interests, what we had heard and learned about the Vatican and especially the Sistine Chapel, and then built on that. She was as adept in explaining Michelangelo's techniques as she was his intrigues and cheekiness (literally!). It was only the vagaries of TrenItalia's accidental relationship to its train schedules that prevented us from engaging her at the end of our trip to guide us through the Galleria Borghese. Oh, and Serena gave us ideas on other sites to see in Rome that complemented what we saw in the Chapel (which were amazing), and the best gelato we had in 2 weeks in Italy was at the place Serena recommended (Fridgidarium?). Worth every Euro. ”
