Our driver will meet you at the port for a private car tour to discover the countryside of Umbria. You will travel to Assisi, a medieval town in Umbria situated on a hill surrounded by olive and cypress trees. Known all over the world as the home of St. Francis, this town also maintains frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue. Here, you will discover the old-fashioned chapels hidden along narrow streets and filled with artisans, shops, and art galleries. You will visit the Basilica of Saint Francis as the main feature of your visit to Assisi. You will then continue to Orvieto to discover its cultural and artistic beauty. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the local culinary specialties accompanied by Orvieto Bianco, the best of the Umbrian wines.
