On this day, you will leave the city of Rome with your driver/guide to explore the riches of the Tivoli countryside. Along the route, you will see cascading waterfalls and striking cliffs as you ascend. In Villa d’Este, you will walk along its countless fountains, discovering the charming essence of the Renaissance Gardens. Villa d’Este is known for its artistic wonders, including frescoes from the 16th century Roman school. Then you will continue on to discover the ruins of Villa Adriana, the largest of the Imperial Roman villas. Emperor Hadrian got inspiration to build his residence based on the structures of the eastern provinces of the Empire. Upon request, we can also reserve lunch or dinner at La Sibilla, an authentic local restaurant overlooking Ancient Roman ruins and the Tivoli countryside.
