Wine Tasting in the Lazio Region

During this day, you will discover the Castelli Romani area in the Lazio region, which is famous for its castles and wines. Our driver/guide will meet at your hotel and drive you through Frascati. You will stop in Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence since the seventeenth century. Near the Albano Lake, we will arrange the wine tasting in one of the oldest wine cellars in the region, the Pagnanelli Restaurant established in 1882.

Your private wine tasting will consist of a selection of the best wines of the Lazio region. The sommelier will provide an enological perspective of the Castelli Romani area, followed by the wine presentation and tasting. The wines will be accompanied by appetizers including Parmigiano cheese, gorgonzola, ham, and mozzarella di bufala.
